When you use RateRight, we collect only what's necessary to provide the service:
- Questionnaire inputs — your freelancer type, experience level, location, and project details. These are used solely to generate your rate report and are not stored after your session ends.
- Email address — collected only if you upgrade to Pro, used for subscription management and account communications.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate your personalised rate report
- To manage your Pro subscription
- To send transactional emails (receipts, subscription updates)
- To improve the accuracy of our rate recommendations
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not store your questionnaire responses after your session
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not share your email with marketers
Cookies
We use minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention
Questionnaire data is not retained beyond your active session. Email addresses and subscription data are retained for as long as you have an active account, and deleted within 30 days of account cancellation upon request.
